Overview

Etihad Airways Engineering provides a broad range of airframe services, helping customers from around the world maintain and increase their fleet reliability. We have strong OEM representation onsite and our extensive portfolio of services ranges from routine maintenance and heavy checks to major structural repairs, cabin modifications and retrofits, connectivity embodiments, major OEM and vendor modifications and more. We are already working on the latest generation of aircraft like the Airbus A380 and the Boeing 787 Dreamliner and building our Airbus A350 capability.

Complex structural repairs

We offer composite repair of nacelle and thrust reverser systems and off-the-shelf repair schemes for more than 6,000 damage scenarios. Our recent projects include a highly complex composite flush repair carried out onsite by our engineers under the supervision of Boeing AOG on an Etihad Airways Dreamliner.

Casualty management

We understand the urgency of resolving an aircraft on the ground (AOG) situation. Our experienced service teams are rushed to the site of the aircraft to carry out the necessary maintenance and repair to get your aircraft back into the skies in the shortest possible time. Etihad Airways Engineering is fully equipped to recover multiple aircraft types in various scenarios and is developing a centre of excellence for aircraft recovery training in Abu Dhabi, offering world leading training to airline staff, airport fire and rescue teams and military organisations.
