Airframe Services

Etihad Airways Engineering provides a broad range of airframe services, helping customers from around the world maintain and increase their fleet reliability. We have strong OEM representation onsite and our extensive portfolio of services ranges from routine maintenance and heavy checks to major structural repairs, cabin modifications and retrofits, connectivity embodiments, major OEM and vendor modifications and more. We are already working on the latest generation of aircraft like the Airbus A380 and the Boeing 787 Dreamliner and building our Airbus A350 capability.

Component Services

We take pride in being a strategically located one-stop shop for customers with airframe services complimented by consistently expanding component capabilities in close collaboration with key OEMs and reputed vendors from all over the world. We are focusing on the Boeing 787, A380 and new platforms entering the market. Our dedicated component shops located onsite are spread over 6,000 sqm, with test, repair and overhaul capability for more than 5,000 part numbers of Airbus and Boeing aircraft. Through our component services, we are committed to deliver value not just to our regional and global airline customers but also MROs and OEMs who do business with us.

Design, Engineering and Innovation

The Design, Engineering and Innovation (DEI) team at Etihad Airways Engineering is the primary driver of design, engineering solutions and technical innovation for Etihad Airways and third party customers and continues to focus on newer platforms projects (A380 and Boeing 787). The team has vast experience in successfully delivering major modifications, complex retrofit programmes involving multiple vendors and BFE coordination and provides 24/7 technical support to the light and heavy maintenance teams.
