The Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) of Australia has granted Etihad Airways Engineering in Abu Dhabi the CASR Part 145 Maintenance organisation approval to provide base maintenance services on the latest Airbus and Boeing platforms – the A380 and the B787 – as well as the B777 and the A330 and A320 family of aircraft.
“We have been expanding our global customer footprint consistently in line with our growing capabilities particularly on new platforms like the A380 and the B787,” said Jeff Wilkinson, Chief Executive of Etihad Airways Engineering. “We are pleased to conform to the stringent and high regulatory standards set by CASA and look forward to bring our industry leading aircraft maintenance and engineering solutions to airline operators in Australia.”
Etihad Airways Engineering is the largest commercial aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services provider in the Middle East and has served more than 100 airlines and aviation operators from around the world. The company was recently named MRO Service Provider of the Year – Middle East at the Aviation Business Awards 2016.
